Our slate selection offers a broad spectrum of color selection to suit your tastes. Slate is a rock that that forms metaphorically out of shale deposits.  Due to the nature of how it forms, Slate can be very easily split into thin pieces for use as a roofing material (i.e. slate shingles).  Slate is very popular for use in flooring, fireplace area’s & hearths, use in bathrooms and more!  Slabs of slate are typically smaller in comparison to the other stones we work with.
