Granite
Granite is scientifically classified as igneous rock. This means it was once molten deep within the earth and formed into it’s current shape thanks to the all natural cooling process. Minerals usually appear within granite that look like small speckles throughout the stone. This is considered to create what looks like a ‘salt & pepper’ textured appearance on the exterior of the granite.
